Find Out How To Exfoliate Right!

Top Benefits of Exfoliant Products

Beauty and exfoliating

Aestheticians are key professionals in the Skincare industry; their vast experience, combined with ongoing education, will provide patients like you and I, the best and most effective products the market has to offer in order to achieve a radiant, beautiful complexion. According to Dermascope – “In our struggling economy, we all work hard to make the best choices when choosing which products to use so as to maximize results while minimizing costs in the treatment room. We also have to carefully consider these factors when recommending to our clientele what they should use for their home care regimen to complement the treatments we provide.”

Why exfoliate?

Is your complexion a target to minor breakouts? Well, using a good exfoliant product will balance your skin ph levels by controlling sebum production while treating and normalizing clogged skin with blackheads, white-heads, and minor acne breakouts.

Does your skin feel tight? Dehydrated? Do you have dry, scaly patches? By exfoliating, you will remove dead cells buildup, and your complexion will regain the radiant, glowing, and refreshed look again!

Exfoliants may restore radiance and a youthful appearance to the skin. Exfoliants containing natural marine extract will remove dead skin cells and impurities.

Beautiful Hands

Treasure your hands

Skin care goes beyond the face, our hands are often neglected in treatments. The primary focus in product selection is the face and neck, leaving our hands out of the loop … our poor hands, they are the reason we can function, they also need to be pampered, let’s show them love by cleansing, exfoliating and protecting them from the sun, not to mention moisturizing day and night.

Skin care goes beyond the face, our hands are often neglected in treatments. The primary focus in product selection is the face, leaving our hands out of the loop … our poor hands, they too need pampering! Let’s show them love by cleansing, exfoliating and protecting them from the sun, not to mention moisturizing them daily.

Starting this week, take 5 minutes, cherish and appreciate your hands, cleanse, exfoliate, and moisturize them! If you bite or pick your nails, stop now, you may develop an infection. Choose products containing plant oils, considering they nourish your skin, and are absorbed into the epidermis faster than mineral oils.

Home-made hand scrubs

Mix 2 tablespoon of sea salt with 2 tablespoon of olive oil. Grab a handful and massage all over hands, concentrating on your fingers and knuckles for 5 minutes, rinse off with warm water. Your hands may feel invigorated and soft again!

Mix a tablespoon of almond or peach kernel oil with 1 tablespoon of sugar and massage your hands with it; great for circulation, leaving your digits blissfully soft!

Masking hands

This step is simple, when you mask your face and neck, simply apply the product to your hands as well! Amazing results!

Moisturize

We all follow a skin regimen before bed, don’t forget to moisturize your hands as well. Once a week,  and wear emollient saturated gloves overnight, this trick will help the moisturizer penetrate into the pores and may begin healing cracked hands.

Sun Protection

Sun exposure ages skin as well as our hands, meaning wrinkles and brown spots! Use a minimum of SPF 15, this may prevent these pesky blemishes, when applying sunscreen to your face, take the time to extend it to your hands also!

Hand treatment is another step to optimal skin care, it’s never too late to begin, let’s begin today!!!
